Lola Dart is a professional speaker with a focus on efficiency. Since the time she was four, she has loved time management and productivity. She has used this love to effectively master each aspect of her life.
Lola received a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida where she studied how to make businesses more efficient. She paid her way through college with scholarships and working two jobs at all times. She took a full course load each semester and obtained three minors during her study while simultaneously serving as president of three student organizations on campus. Throughout her schooling, she loved being involved and accomplishing goals, but it wasn’t until she graduated that she realized the importance of being happy and peaceful along the way.
After graduation, Lola took her business efficiency education and applied it to the home management level. She moved to New Orleans and started organizing many of the mansions on historic St. Charles Avenue. It didn’t take long to realize that people are happier when they know where everything in their house is located. Lola wanted to teach people better ways to manage their own belongings, so she started the company Live and Learn with Lola and created this website with instructional posts on how to do just that.
During the time Lola got her company up and running, she continued to edit textbooks, manage properties for clients and nanny. People were constantly asking her how she could possibly manage each aspect of her life and not become overwhelmed. So, she shared her system, MINTOA™.
Within a year, Lola began leading seminars throughout the country. She wrote and published an eBook and taught the first full-length class. She was also interviewed about her company and featured on Nola.com. Amidst the professional success, Lola also accomplished many personal goals in that year including doing the splits for the first time in her life, joining her first dance team which allowed her to march in her first Mardi Gras parade, learning the beginning levels of Spanish, improving her sight-reading skills on piano and reading 27 books while she was 27. She also started following another passion of hers, crafting! She currently makes and sells handmade goods at Lola Dart Art on etsy.
In 2017, I fostered four children. Two stayed for only a couple of nights. One charming 15-year-old stayed in my home for a couple of months and in my heart forever. We maintain regular contact. One intelligent and hilarious 4-year-old was with me for eight months and is still in my home.
I became the Senior Project Manager and Process Consultant for Kaplan Licensing. I developed a Product Life Cycle for content endeavors with the input of dozens of people throughout the organization. The Life Cycle became a way to standardize discussions throughout various business units. For the first time in over a decade, hundreds of people have a streamlined way to discuss statuses and achievements amongst each other.
I started my master’s program in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I completed my first class and achieved an ‘A’ grade.
I maintained a regular yoga practice, spiritual practice, and relatively clean home. I endured a 3-month battle with bed bugs (and lice) and emerged victoriously!
I helped my partner of three years move across the country to join me in Florida, while also planning the large-scale details of our wedding.
I spent time with family and friends who are dear to me, near and far. I attended concerts, art shows and performances to support those I love.
I personally followed the MINTOA Mentality each week in order to achieve everything I set out to do. I continuously developed the mentality for easier use by others. I produced multiple short videos to teach others the ins and outs of the system. I became an even more firm believer that MINTOA has already changed the world for the better.
