As I began my food journey, I realized that there are so many online resources out there that it is often times hard to know where to begin. If you are just starting out (or starting over) on your own, you need to start small. This often means you don’t have many kitchen appliances or a huge spice collection. I understand! I was there too, I think we all have been. Because of this, my focus is to help you find recipes that are easy, inexpensive and delicious!
When I was first starting, it was often times hard to find recipes that were in line with What I Love To Eat. Most recipes included a long list of ingredients that ended up making it cheaper to just eat out. When I would finally find a recipe that had a short list of delicious ingredients, I would find out in Step 4 that I didn’t have the kitchen appliance I needed to make the dish. I was often frustrated.
Unless otherwise noted, the recipes on this site are vegan, have six ingredients or less and only require the following appliances: a stove top, an oven, or a microwave. If a recipe does not follow these guidelines, it will be annotated using the key below:
(B) – Blender – I personally use a NutriBullet® and I am in love with the ease of cleanup it provides! However, a regular blender will work just as well for my recipes.
(NV) – Not Vegan
I hope that you enjoy using these recipes on the path towards healthy cooking for you and your family!
